Binding Decisions
The Public Transport Ombudsman (“PTO”) Ltd Charter provides for the Ombudsman to resolve a complaint through binding decision in the absence of a conciliated settlement of the complaint – see how we handle complaints.
The PTO Ltd Charter requires the Ombudsman to publish binding decisions; this section contains binding decisions made by the Ombudsman.
Binding decisions must be published without identifying the complainant. Decisions on this page are therefore published in an anonymous form. In addition, to preserve the confidentiality of the conciliation process, some information about the PTO’s investigation of the complaint may also be removed from the binding decision.
