What 'Member of the Scheme' means

Participating organisations are called ‘members’ in the Charter.

Victorian public transport services are run by organisations under franchise contracts with the government. The companies that run Victorian transport services are called ‘public transport operators’. The majority of the public transport operators in Victoria are members of the Public Transport Ombudsman scheme.

The public transport operators listed on this page are the organisations participating in the Public Transport Ombudsman scheme. The Ombudsman can therefore consider complaints relating to these operators.
