How Authorised Officers work

Authorised Officers generally work as part of a team. The team may be two or more members and would includes a Team Leader or Supervisor.

When a person is be spoken to by an Authorised Officer, only one Authorised Officer and an Authorised Officer witness/corroborator should be in contact with the person. All other Authorised Officers should move away, although they may remain within view so they can offer assistance if necessary.
