Report highlights complaints Victorians have escalated to the PTO

Data released in the Public Transport Ombudsman (PTO) Annual Report 2025 shows that just over 3,000 Victorians contacted the Ombudsman for help during the 2024-25 financial year.

State of Disaster in Victoria

The Public Transport Ombudsman (PTO) extends sympathies to those affected by the bushfires. Due to the ongoing State of Disaster, services like V/Line Albury and Bairnsdale are disrupted. V/Line services set for major disruptions

Planned industrial action will disrupt V/Line services throughout December. Strikes will affect the Ararat, Maryborough, Ballarat, Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Albury, Shepparton, Seymour, Warrnambool, and Geelong lines on various dates.
